Abstract
Porcine circovirus type 2(PCV2) belongs to family Circoviridae with 2 serotypes PCV1 and PCV2.The PCV1 widely exists in pig without pathogenicity,but the PCV2 could induce a series of pig synthetic diseases directly or indirectly,such as porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV),postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome(PMWS),porcine respiratory disease complex(PRDC),porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome(PDNS).In order to understand pathogenic factors of PCV2 and set up a rapid identification and diagnosis technique,this paper summarizes studies of PCV2,its relative pathogenic factors and current diagnosis technology,which is expected to provide a reference for study on occurrence and diagnosis of PCV2.
