Abstract

The author points out that interpretation is an online multi-task processing cognition and many interpreters, especially those new comers in this field, fail to have a good performance as a result of irrational distribution of cognitive resources in this process. In light of the Effort Model proposed by Daniel Gile, and supported by the first-hand data from his teaching experience, the author goes to explore the ideal model of energy distribution in class training for interpretation.
