Abstract
From logical point of view,Dewey explained thinking as the process from data,induction,and deduction to verification.We use formal learning theory in contemporary linguistics to make a sort of cognitive interpretation of teaching or learning.The learning process of empirical inquiry is the cognitive process that the agent(learner) acquires information(data),copes with the obtained information(makes assumptions and infers from them),and identifies the information.The logical basis of this sort of cognitive interpretation is the contemporary dynamic epistemic logic.According to this cognitive explanation,the research on teaching can be developed using methodologies from different disciplines,including linguistics,psychology,game theory,informatics,philosophy and so on.
