Abstract
Objectives:Using multi-slice CT(MSCT) to explore the relationship between CT perfusion parameters of normal pancreas and the age,body mass index(BMI).Methods:35 cases with normal pancreas were grouped according to age and BMI,16-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging of pancreas were performed.Three-point measurement approach was used to obtain the values of blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),permeability surface(PS) and mean transit time(MTT) of pancreatic tissues in different groups,respectively.The mean value of each group was regarded as the final value of perfusion parameter,which was then statistically analyzed.Results:①Groups of age:the pancreatic perfusion values of BF,BV,PS and MTT in the Group aged 44 or below were(172.92±77.63)ml/(100g·min),(61.63±24.37)ml/100g,(175.08±150.44)ml/(100g·min) and(347.35±137.41) 0.1s,respectively;the pancreatic perfusion values of BF,BV,PS and MTT in the Group aged between 45 and 59 were(181.61±133.36)ml/(100g·min),(52.30±24.19)ml/100g,(213.44±151.20)ml/(100g·min) and(397.00±153.50) 0.1s,respectively;the pancreatic perfusion values of BF,BV,PS and MTT in the Group aging 60 or above were(118.99±37.89)ml/(100g·min),(45.62±9.40)ml/100g,(202.72±91.08)ml/(100g·min) and(321.65±90.02) 0.1s,respectlvely.②Groups of BMI:The pancreatic perfusion values of BF,BV,PS and MTT in the Group with BMI 22 or below were(154.39±79.88)ml/(100g·min),(52.92±23.79)ml/100g,(209.85±147.52)ml/(100g·min) and(365.09±130.06) 0.1s,respectively;the pancreatic perfusion values of BF,BV,PS and MTT in the Group with BMI above 22 were(182.82±120.96)ml/(100g·min),(59.66±18.72)ml/100g,(157.68±107.50)ml/(100g·min) and(339.62±145.17) 0.1s,respectively.It was found by the correlation analysis that negative correlation existed between age and blood flow(P0.05).And there was no statistical significance existed among groups of age or between groups of BMI(P0.05).Conclusion:The perfusion parameters of pancreas have not been influenced by individual factors except that the amount of blood flow declined gradually following the increase of age.
