Abstract
Objective To assess the efficacy of insulin pump in the treatment of patients with type 1 diabetes. Methods 59 patients with type 1 diabetes were divided into two groups and studied with intensive insulin therapy, the group of 26 patients was treated by continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII)with insulin pump and the other was treated by multiple subcutaneous insulin Injection(MSII).Results At the time of reaching the target blood glucose level, the average duration of t reatment, the daily insulin dose and the hypoglycemia incidence were markedly decreased in CSII group, comparing with MSII group(P0. 01或P0.05).Conclusion CSII can control the hyperglycosemia sooner and more effectively, and reduce the risk of hypoglycemic, comparing with MSII.
