Abstract
The rice-quality of 611 new varieties or lines which were tested in Jilin regional test from 2007 to 2011,the results indicated that the best rice-quality came from late-maturing variety, medium maturing and mid-late varieties were relatively lower.More than 92% varieties achieve the level of national standard 1 or 2 on brown rice rate, transparency and amylose content, then it pointed out the constraint to achieve the level of national standard 1 or 2 were chalk rate, chalkiness degree and head rice rate.
