Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect and untoward reaction of preemptive analgesia with Parecoxib sodium in children undergoing endoscopic adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy of snoring disease. Methods From January 2011 to September 2011,sixty children with snoring disease were randomly divided into three groups with 20 cases in each group.Group A was Parecoxib sodium group, group B was Fentanyl group and group C was control group. In group A,1 mg/kg Parecoxib sodium was administered intravenously 30 minutes before the finish of operation, and the members in group B received Fentanyl 1μg/kg at the same time, meanwhile cases in group C received normal saline. The age, sex, body weight, blood loss, operation time and intraoperative anesthetic dosage of children in three groups has no statistic difference(P0.05).The agitation score within 10min after extubation was observed. The pain score and sedation score at 1,2,4 and 8h after surgery were recorded. The 24h untoward reaction was observed. Results The pain score in group A was lower than that in group B and group C at all time points after operation. At first and second hour after operation, the sedation score in group B was markedly higher than that in group A and group C.The postoperative nausea and vomiting incidence in group B was higher than that in group A and group C.No significant respiratory depression or severe fluctuation of blood pressure was observed in three groups. Conclusion In the children undergoing endoscopic adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy of snoring disease, preemptive analgesia with Parecoxib sodium could get good effect, prevent the restlessness of general anesthesia and has less side effect than Fentanyl.
