Abstract

The scale of Lilium lancifalium Thunb. was used to induce bulb and the adventitious buds developed from the bulb were proliferated by orthogonal experiment. Results showed that the scale explants formed bulb without callus formation in the medium MS +1.0 mg / L 6-BA + 0.1 mg / L NAA and the induction rate and differentiation coefficient were 100 % and 5.5,respectively. The proliferation rate of adventitious buds was improved with the added concentration of 6-BA in the range of 0.4 ~1.2mg / L and the largest proliferation coefficient was 3.83 with the medium MS + 1.2 mg / L 6-BA + 0.2 mg / L IAA +0.1 mg / L NAA. The optimal medium for rooting was 1 / 2 MS+ 1.0 mg / L NAA.
