Abstract

A three dimensional finite element model of static stress for double-arc gear and qssuadruple-arc gear was established based on APDL language embedded in ANSYS,the distribution graph of static stress of double-arc and qssuadruple-arc gear was obtained after meshing and loading. The result shows that the loading capacity of the qssuadruple-arc gear is 60% more than the current double-arc gear.
