Abstract
The three-dimensional geometry model of a double-circular arc gear was established using parameterization method based on Pro/E,and the elements were meshed using finite element analysis software ANSYS.A bending stress-strain curve of the gear was obtained through static stress analysis;each mode shape of the gear was obtained through modal analysis;and the displacement of a particular node was obtained through transient analysis. These findings provide a true reflection of the force and deformation on the gear, which is conducive to the improvement and enhancement of gear transmission technology.
