Abstract
The meshing characteristic of a double circular arc gear is introduced according to the mesh principle of double circular arc gear. Based on Pro / E model established with the parameter design method,the simulation of the meshing process is realized using finite element method with the help of freedom coupling method.The contact stresses in the meshing process are analyzed based on the model.
