Analysis of Confidence Level on Abnormal Leukocyte Indicated by Sysemex XS800i Blood Analyzer

Objective To study the confidence level of indicating abnormal leukocyte by Sysmex-XS800i blood analyzer.Methods When specimens were indicated by Sysmex-XS800i blood analyzer as abnormality,they were contrastively inspected by microscope simultaneously.Results Using Sysmex-XS800i blood analyzer on classifying normal maturity leukocyte was considered ideal,but was unfit for abnormal lymphocyte such as primitive and immature cells when compared with microscope test.Conclusion Blood analyzer couldn′t replace microscope test completely.When abnormal cells were indicated by blood analyzer or suspected by clinician,these specimens must be smeared for microscope test.
