Abstract
A crossbreeding experiments was conducted on Texel mail sheep and Gansu Alpine fine-wool sheep(GA).The results showed that under the same feeding and management conditions,average duration of pregnancy of F1 from Texel×GA was 2-3 days longer than control group,lamb percentage,fertility and reproductive and survival rate were higher than control group for 2%,6% and 4%,respectively,lamb surviving rate lower for 2%,there was no significant difference(P0.05).Multiple birth of test group was 120%;birth weight,weaning weight of F1 from Texel×GA were higher than control group for 16.6% and 24%,there was significant(P0.05),average body weight gain was higher for control group for 0.1 kg,there was significant difference(P0.01),live weight before slaughter and carcass weight were higher than control group for 4.58 kg and 3.66 kg,there was significant difference(P0.05),dressing percentage improved 5.75%(P0.05).
