Abstract
Peanut seeds were treated with different Cd2+concentration to study the toxic effect of Cd2+ stress on seed germination and seedling growth by analyzing germination vigor, seedling rate and main physiological indexes. The results showed that there was no significant difference in seed germination vigor between different treatments when Cd2+ concentration was 0~80mg/L,the seedling rate obviously decreased with increase of Cd2+ concentration and there was a very significant negative correlation between seedling rate and Cd2+ concentration when Cd2+ concentration was 20mg/L,there were very significant negative correlations between Cd2+ concentration and plant height, root activity, content of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b,and there were significant correlations between Cd2+ concentration and root length, seedling biomass,CAT activity. The results can provide a theoretical basis for research, control and ecology of Cd2+ pollution in agriculture.
