Abstract
The effects of Cd2+ in different concentration rations on the germination of maize seeds and the growth of seedling were studied. It was shown that Cd2+ raised germination percentage, the bud growth and root growth when Cd2+ level was range from 5mg/L to 15mg/L. High level Cd2+ that its concentration was higher than 50 mg/L was harmful to the germination and growth of maize.
