This paper deals with the special case of internal gearing that the gear ratio is equal to 1 and the pressure angle is π/2. The necessary and sufficient conditions for this gearing are investigated and the problem on maximum or minimum number of teeth are settled in a most general form. Moreover, the method to determine all the revesible gears by giving the number of teeth is given with some numerical examples.
