Abstract
Based on CATIA,the method of 3D parameterized model of involute spur gear with medication was studied.With this method,to input gear parameters,the accurate 3D solid model of involute gear can be attained automatically.The principle of virtual assembly with meshing backlash was introduced,three methods were set out.It is significant to improve the accuracy of design,assembly and manufacturing of the involute spur gear.
