Abstract
This paper introduces involute spur gear of parameterized modeling based on Pro/E.According to principles and formulas of involute,equation of Cartesian coordinates is entered in the equation editor to generate accurate involute gear teeth.Then profile curve is created by the formula of gear parameters.Through tension and array command,gear teeth of spur gear is established,so designers can develop three dimensional spur gear shape design efficiently,and offer a new approach for parameters design of other parts.
