Abstract
With the fast developing of superstructures and skyscrapers, the demands for high bearing capacity of pile foundations have been raised. Based on the axial loading test results of DX piles and post grouting bored piles, this paper mainly studies the bearing capacities of DX piles with the comparison of the post grouting bored piles. Test result shows that the bells of DX piles located on different strata bear the loads in turn from the top to bottom. It not only can greatly improve the bearing capacity, but also effectively controls the settlement. Adopting the DX pile can greatly reduce the diameter and/or length of piles, while it can well satisfy the requirements of high bearing capacity, which can receive good economic and social benefits.
