Abstract
The essential oil composition of Achillea biebersteinii Afan., collected in Turkey, is reported. Using GC and GC/MS, forty-seven compounds were found of which more than 60% of the oil was represented by 1, 8-cineole (46.1%) and camphor (17.6%). The other major constituents were α-terpineol (8.2%), borneol (3.4%), sabinene (3.2%) and terpinen-4-ol (3.1%).
