Abstract

The contents of camphor, menthol and borneol in Electric Heating Air Cleaning Disinfectant (EHACD) were simultaneous determined by CGC with naphthalene as an internal standard. The result indicated that the contents of camphor, menthol and borneol were 8.15%, 3.70% and 3.53%, respectively. RSD(n=3) were 1.3%, 2.15% and 4.58%, respectively. The standard curve was linear in the range of 0.4982.490mg/ml for camphor, 0.227-1.135mg/ml for menthol and 0.224-1.120mg/ml for borneol. And all rs=0.9999. The average recovery and RSD (n=3) were 98.6% and 1.32% for camphor, 98.9% and 2.60% for menthol, 96.5% and 3.43% for borneol. The method was simple, quick and accurate for simultaneous determination of camphor, menthol and borneol in EHACD.
