Clinical investigation of arthroscopic staging treatment for 110 cases with knee osteoarthritis.

Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience of staging treatment for knee osteoarthritis under arthroscopy.Methods According to the case histories,medical examinations and X-rays of 110 cases(118 knee) with knee osteoarthritis,the staging treatment was carried out under arthroscopy.Results All cases were followed up for 6 months-5 years.The results were excellent in 71 cases(64.5 %),good in 33(30 %),poor in 6 cases(5.5 %).The effective rate was 94.5 %.Conclusion Good results can be obtained with proper arthroscopy operation after cautious preoperative examination and staging treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
