Abstract

Ⅰ. INTRODUCTION 4-(2-Thiazolylazo)-resorcinol (TAR)can form colored complexes with many metal ions and has been widely used as a color producing reagent for spectrophotometry. Most of its complexes with metal ions have the maximum absorbance within the wavelengths of 500—550 nm and molar absorptivities of 2×10~4—6×10~4.
