Abstract
A description is given of a utility-owned co-generation power plant producing process steam and electric power. The power is produced by an 800 kW gas turbine generator, and a net heat rate of 4825 Btu/kW-hr is generated. The plant operates at a 52.6% net efficiency, should save industry about $90,000 a year in steam costs, and can be used for blackout protection for users of regular utilities. (PMA)
