Abstract
This paper describes the integrated control system and the operations control capabilities planned for the Boston Central Artery/Tunnel Project. It describes the aspects of the system architecture that permit incorporation of new technology. It also explores issues that may develop when new Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) technologies confront a large-scale predominantly underground urban highway.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
