Abstract
INROADS is a rural municipality Road Inventory System for use on IBM compatible computers. The parameters of the software have been designed by staff from the Shire of Mortlake who also have implemented and refined the program over the past 2 years. This paper details the history of the software, aspects of input and output, parameters used for collecting data, and the update system adopted by the Shire of Mortlake in its successful implementation (A).
