Abstract
Objective: Citrus unshiu Markovich(Rutaceae) has been used in traditional medicine as a digestant, expectorant, and in the treatment of diarrhea, anal prolapes. Hesperidin, naringin contents of citrus fruits have been determined. Methods: The Citrus unshill was dried in dry oven. The extraction was sonicated in methanol in respectively. A quantitative analysis of hesperidin, naringin using HPLC method. Analysis of naringin, hesperidin, neohesperidin, narigenin and hesperetin was conducted by HPLC with reversed-phase C18 column and a UV dctecter at 204 nm. Elution was carried out at 1.0 ml/min with methanol. Result and Conclusion : Sonication in methanol for 1.5hr was the better extracting method that can extracted naringin and hesperidin at the same time. And methanol of mobile phase was good resolution and could analyze into naringin and hesperidin at the same time.
