Abstract

A new HPLC method for the analysis of myricitrin content and entrapment efficiency of myricitrin liposome was established. Samples were analyzed on a C18 column (4.6 mm× 150 mm,5 μm) using methanol- buffer (40:60) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.4 mL·min-1 and detection wavelength was 367 nm. The free drug was isolated by refrigerated centrifugation. Within the good linear range of Myricitrin in 0.8~40 μg/mL(r=0.9999, n=5), the average recovery was between 100.9% and 101.9% and RSD were less than 2% ( n = 5).This method was simple, feasible ,accurate and can be used for the quality control of liposomal formulation of myricitrin.
