Abstract
Area Group 7 has brought together the major public transport projects in DRIVE2 to provide a high degree of expertise in both practical and theoretical aspects of public transport management and information systems. The work undertaken in the individual projects and their assessment of the major strategic issues associated with ATT implementation are outlined in this report. The main projects covered are: a) EUROBUS; b) GAUDI; c) LLAMD; d) PHOEBUS; e) PROMPT; f) QUARTET; and g) SCOPE. Brief details of each are provided. The paper also discusses the strategic issues and the barriers to ATT implementation. Recommendations for future work are made. For the covering abstract see IRRD 868006.
