Abstract

This contribution gives an overview of a series of elasticities regarding the car/public transport modal split. Several trip purposes and personal factors are discerned. The elasticities that are found in this research project are low. It is found that only a minor part of the car drivers will change their mode if car driving is made less attractive or public transport is made more attractive. (Author/TRRL)
