Abstract
The composition of high molecular weight(HMW) glutenin subunit(GS) in a common wheat line SYN351 derive from CIMMYT wheat germplasm, was analyzed by SDS-PAGE.SYN351 only possessed HMW-GS 5+10 encoded by Glu-D1,and non HMW-GS were observed on locus of Glu-A1and Glu-B1.It was seemed that SYN351(N,N,5+10)was a new type of HMW-GS composition in common wheat. The potential utilization of SYN351 in wheat quality breeding was discussed in present paper.
