Abstract

The 9th International Alcohol Interlock Symposium, Alcohol Interlocks: Planning for Success, was held August 24-26, 2008 in Tallberg, Sweden. The conference covered the following topics: overview of alcohol interlock programs, the role of treatment programs, technology, policy and legislative needs, how to build support and public awareness, Sweden's experience with alcohol interlock devices, and European progress.
