Abstract

The author, General Manager for Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), looks at the transportation management plans for the 1996 Olympic Games. Forty-eight transit agencies from around the country made commitments to provide additional buses. Many of the buses loaned to Atlanta were also used to transport spectators to the 1996 Paralympic Games.
