Evaluation of urban and rural overall development in Jiangxi province based on input-output analysis.

This article referred to the concept of input-output economics to build the evaluation index system of the urban and rural overall development,used the entropy value method to determine the index weight,and applied TOPSIS method to construct the model for the evaluation of the urban and rural overall development in Jiangxi province during 2000~2009.The results showed that: from 2000 to 2009,the overall developmental degree of the urban and rural economy in Jiangxi province first decreased and then increased,and it varied from 0.43 to 0.57,basically being at the un-overall level.The input of the urban and rural overall development in Jiangxi province was divided into two sides: government investment and market allocation.The government investment played a significant role in the urban and rural overall development,and it was the main driving force to the urban and rural overall development in Jiangxi province at present.In the future,the market allocation will be much more necessary for the overall development of the urban and rural economy in Jiangxi province.
