Abstract

Objective:To establish the method for determination of 4 elements in blood by octopole reaction system with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Methods: The samples were diluted by 0.1%Triton X-100+0.1%HNO3.The solution was directly analyzed by ORS-ICP-MS for determination of four elements in blood, including Pb,As,Hg,Cd.Results: The detection limit of each element was between 0.20 μg/L~0.52 μg/L.Deviations were below 3.0%.Recovery rates were in the range of 94.0%~102%.Standard reference materials were used as quality control standards and the analysis results conformed well to the certified values. Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid, accurate and reliable for determination of four elements in blood samples.
