Abstract
Electronic toll and traffic management (ETTM) systems are the first real world application of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) technology. This article reviews the activities of toll authorities that currently operate, are planning, or are testing ETTM systems. ETTM systems are user-friendly, which ITS advocates will emphasize when making a case for implementation of additional ITS technologies.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
