Abstract
Streptococcus pneumoniae is an important bacterial pathogen, especially for the very young and the very old (1). S. pneumoniae , also referred to as the pneumococcus, was formerly known as Diplococcus pneumoniae . These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
