Abstract
Intelligent transportation systems (ITSs) are designed to address a wide range of problems/issues, including traffic congestion, safety, environment, driver safety and convenience, and highway capacity. This article briefly describes ITS technologies that focus on these areas. Some ITS applications are a reality now and still more possibilities are on the drawing board.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
