Abstract

This paper described the status and applications of the MULATM and CENCIMM traffic network models in Australia, with particular reference to local government applications. The MULATM package has proven to be a useful and informative tool for application, at a variety of levels, in the planning and evaluation of local area traffic plans. CENCIMM will soon be a viable and useful system for appraisal of traffic network performance in the environs of a regional activity centre. The growing body of experience and expertise in the use of MULATM and CENCIMM is providing an expanding basis for future use of the packages. (TRRL)
