Abstract
Braking energy recovery technology as an effective means to improve the range of electric vehicles has been widely studied and applied. At present, the research on braking energy recovery technology is mainly focused on the control strategy, and there is a lack of evaluation research on braking energy recovery technology. In this paper, the signals obtained by CAN bus are mainly used, and sensors are added to assist the collection of signals. The braking energy recovery of vehicles is studied by setting coasting braking, conventional braking, progressive braking, emergency braking, brake drive switching, gear switching, variable pedal opening and cycle condition (NEDC). And the brake pedal pressure is measured to analyze the driver’s comfort when the vehicle is braking. The detection method effectively analyzes the braking energy recovery technology of the vehicle, and makes an objective evaluation of the energy recovery under different working conditions and the stability of the vehicle during braking energy recovery.
