Abstract

This paper proposes a new ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) control strategy based on braking time interval by analysis and simulation of braking process. Braking strength is an important influence factor of safety braking. In the whole braking process, with the change of braking time interval, the average braking force changes, and the strategy adapts to the need of braking strength in different road surfaces, finally achieves the purpose of preventing the wheels from being locked. Thereby it ensures the stability and maneuverability in the braking process, enhances the safety of vehicle.
