The Investigation of Relationship Between Organizational Images With Organizational Commitment, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Academic Success

In order for university to compete at national and international levels, they need to create an image with high quality social and psychical facilities along with faculty and administrative staff. This study aims to measure the image of Kilis 7 Aralık University in the view of students and to reveal the students perceptıons of organızational image. Also another purpose of this study is to determine organızatıonal ımage is the relationship organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and academıc success. For this purpose, a preliminary study was conducted on was studied a total of 435 unıversıty students at the Kilis 7 Aralık Unıversıty. While the organizational ımage; quality, schedule, sports, general appearance and infrastructure, social environment, entertainment, housingnutrition, support, student communication image; the organizational commitment; emotional commitment, continuity commitment, normative/necessity commitment; the organizational citizenship behavior was treated in terms of its altruism, courtesy, conscientiousness, civic virtue/organizational involvement, sportsmanship dimensions; academic success is overall grade point average of the students. Findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between the subscales of organizational ımage of unıversıty and organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior of dımensıons and academıc successes of students. But, there is not a relationship between organizational commitment and academic success has been identified
