Abstract
Objective :To explore the relationship of Chinese medicine syndrome factors and changes of intracranial blood flow of hypertension patients, as well as the distribution characteristics of hierarchical syndrome factors of hypertension and its impact on the course of hypertension. Methods: Syndrome elements of 312 cases of hypertensive patients with abnormal results detected by transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) were refi ned, and the correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between the elements syndrome, intracranial blood flow and risk-stratifi cation hypertension patients. Results: There was obvious statistic difference of intracranial blood flow velocity between low-risk group and high-risk group (P0.01). Blood stasis was the most prevalent (50%) syndrome element in low-risk group of hypertensive patients, followed by heat (49%); In the high-risk group patients, blood stasis was the most prevalent (63%) syndrome element, followed by heat (50%); It showed that in the high-risk group, the syndrome elements of heat (r 0.219), depression of qi (r 0.141), qi defi ciency (r 0.17) and intracranial blood flow symmetry were relevant. Conclusion: The syndrome elements distribution of the wind, phlegm, blood stasis, depression of qi, blood deficiency in the low-risk group and high-risk group were significantly different, there were dynamics changes of qi and blood during the natural course of hypertension. There was obvious difference between the different risk stratification of hypertension groups in intracranial blood flow changes. Changes of intracranial blood flow had association with syndrome factors.
