Abstract
In order to find out the effects of genotype on the biomass and grain yield of wheat,we analyzed the differences in biomass, grain yield and harvest index among 7 genotypes of wheat varieties. In addition, the relationship between biomass and grain yield and its components was studied. The results showed that the differences in biomass, grain yield and harvest index were all found among various wheat genotypes.Zhenmai 168 had the highest biomass, which was 1656.3 g/m2,but its harvest index was just 0.45.Ningmai 13 had relatively high biomass, and the highest grain yield and harvest index. There was positive correlation between grain yield and biomass yield of different wheat genotypes, while the filled grain number per spike,1000-grain weight and biomass were not closely related.
