Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to analyze the wheat biomass and its affecting factors.[Method] With 10 wheat varieties(lines) as the tested materials, the difference significance and the correlation between the wheat biomass and its yield component were analyzed and the path analysis and correlation analysis between the wheat biomass and yield and between the wheat biomass and morphological characters were also conducted resp.[Result] The difference of the wheat biomass and the yield in 10 wheat varieties(lines) were all at the significant level, with the variation of 16 400-19 900 and 8 124.0-9 463.5 kg/hm2 resp.,and their harvest indexes were 0.448 2-0.508 5,the wheat biomass showed the extremely significantly positive correlation to the yield and the effective ears, the significantly positive correlation to the efficient leaf area index, but the extremely significantly negative correlation to the harvest index and had no significant correlation to the grains of ear and 1 000-grain weight and some morphological traits such as upper 3-leaf area, plant high and ear length. The direct path coefficients of wheat biomass and the economic coefficient on the yield were 1.251 and 0.838 resp.[Conclusion] Increasing suitably the effective ears and the efficient leaf area index and improving the plant type could increase the wheat biomass, thus getting the high yield.
