Abstract
The crown bud of pineapple variety Tainong 17 was used as explants, different hormone combinations ranging from 1.0-4.0 mg/L 6-BA,0.1-0.5 mg/L NAA and 1.0-4.0 mg/L IBA were added to MS or 1/2MS medium to conduct the induction of bud, subculture of cluster buds and rooting of plantlets. The results showed that MS+6-BA(3.0 mg/L)+ NAA(0.1 mg/L) was the best medium for the induction of crown buds, and subculture of the cluster buds with 6.8 of multiplication coefficient in period of 22 days. The optimal medium for rooting was 1/2MS + IBA(3.0 mg/L)+ NAA(0.5 mg/L),and the mixture of sand and pond sludge(1∶2) was found to be the best temporary planting medium for rooted plantlets with 94% of survival rate, and the plantlets grew well and vigorouly.
