Abstract

The excerpts in this section are related to reform in technical and vocational education. As mentioned earlier, expansion of the technical/vocational sector is the main thrust in the reform of secondary education. Two major issues emerge in this reform. First, this reform, like the reform in basic education, involves mobilization of nongovernment resources, in this case nainly funding from enterprises. Second, the reform involves the flexibility and mobility of manpower in order that training could meet real needs. The collection in this section will help describe the first issue.
