Abstract
The imbalance of urban and rural basic education development has restricted its comprehensive development of basic education in the United States.In order to eliminate the gap between urban and rural basic education development,the U.S.federal government has formulated and promulgated a number of policies and measures which gave priority to the development of basic education in rural areas and diverse development of rural basic education.These policies and measures have effectively promoted the development of basic education in rural areas.
