Abstract
The development of rural basic education is of great significance for both the overall development of China's economy and the construction of new socialist countryside and harmonious society.Since the establishment of th PRC,especially since The 16th National Congress of the CPC,China's rural basic education has made great achievements.However,there are still many restraining factors existed in the development of basic education in rural areas,for example,rural basic education is weak,investment in education is inadequate, and the gap between rural and urban basic education is growing.Therefore,it is necessary to seek the scientific countermeasures and build the long-term mechanism of development and revitalization in order to promote the development of rural basic education.
