Abstract

Shenbao,a new table grape cultivar,was selected from the open pollinated seedings of Kyoho grape cultivar.The cluster is quite pretty;berries are long-ellipsic in shape,having a green and green-yellow skin,with average weight of 9.0 g;containing soluble solids of 15% to 17%,titratable acidity of 0.8% with a pleasant flavor,of very good eating quality.It could be induced seedless berries.There was no berry craking noted.Its keeping quality is good.The berries mature at the end July till early August in Shanghai area.
